Wot? No "Slim Shady to the Rescue?" You'll crush Johnny Boy's heart--and ruin his grand entrance (doing a wheelie on his hog!) :)
"Go Slim Shady, GO SLIM SHADY!!!!!"

Hey...What about... Be True to Your School by the Beach Boys!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qNuIAXA_BOI
I think we should end the reunion with a more recent song that hopefully will sum up the evening.
"Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life)"
Green Day
Another turning point, a fork stuck in the road
Time grabs you by the wrist, directs you where to go
So make the best of this test, and don't ask why
It's not a question, but a lesson learned in time
It's something unpredictable, but in the end it's right.
I hope you had the time of your life.
So take the photographs, and still frames in your mind
Hang it on a shelf in good health and good time
Tattoos of memories and dead skin on trial
For what it's worth it was worth all the while
It's something unpredictable, but in the end it's right.
I hope you had the time of your life.
Debbie, I agree with you 100%--Time of YOur Life by Green Day!!!
Hopefully the Bad Boyz won't get too rowdy. If they do, have the DJ slip this one in.
Mama Told Me Not To Come (3 Dog Night)
Want some whiskey in your water
Some sugar in your tea?
What's all these crazy questions
they're asking me?
This is the craziest party there could ever be!
Don't turn on the lights, cause I don't want to see.
Mama told me not to come
Mama told me not to come
That ain't no way to have fun, son
That ain't no way to have fun, NO!
For the romantics, this would be a good song toward evening's end.
Love, Look What You've Done To Me (Boz Skaggs)
Hope they never end this song
This could take us all night long
I looked at the Moon and I felt blue
Then I looked again and I saw you
Etc.
Since there will be a lot of old stories traded, maybe this Jethro Tull gem could waft through the background.
Living In the Past
Happy and I'm smiling
Walk a mile to drink your water.
You know I'd love to love you
and above you there is no other
We'll go walking out
While others shout of war's disaster
Oh, we won't give in
Let's go living in ther past
Once I used to join in
every boy and girl was my friend
Now there's revolution
but they don't know what they're fighting
Let us close our eyes outside their lies
Go much faster
Oh, we won't give in
We'll keep living in the past.
If someone is bugging you all night and you don't know quite how to tell them you aren't interested, have the DJ play, "Don't Call Us, We'll Call You" by Sugarloaf.
Ever the Moody Blues fan, in my mind I always end the night with the sounds of "Nights In White Satin" swirling around my mind.
Beth, I forgot about that song by LuLu--you are reaching into the mid-1960's on that one!
GO SLIM SHADY, GO SLIM SHADY!!!!
Ted Z
Teddy, the classics said it all.
When I think of you that is the song that comes to mind.
Very impressionable.
Beth
I agree with Debbie and Cheryl. Time of Your Life by Green Day!
And with all the others Mr. Z put in.
Mr. Zagar, I need your help!!!
My DJ for the reunion just told me he can't find "To Sir with Love". Can you help me PLeeease???
Beth
Beth,
I'll look on some of my old compilations LP's and CD's, but I don't think I have that one.

How about playing Dust in the Wind by Kansas as the closing song....so true that's what we all are...just dust in the wind....
Don't know how my son's name got on the comments but there it is.....
I think a good old Garth Brooks tune “I Got Friends In Low Places” would be appropriate at some point during the night. Preferably when me and the boys are ready for Prime Time beverage consumptions. Perhaps we could gather and sing a course or two. I believe it goes something like this.
Blame it all on my roots,
I showed up in boots,
And ruined your black tie affair.
The last one to know,
The last one to show,
I was the last one you thought you'd see there.
And I saw a surprise,
And the fear in his eyes,
When I took his glass of champagne,
I toasted you,
Said honey we may be through,
But you'll never hear me complain,
(Chorus)
'Cause I got friends in low places,
Where the Whiskey drowns,
And the Beer chases my blues away,
But I'll be okay,
Now I'm not big on social graces,
Think I'll slip on down to the oasis,
Oh I got friends,
In low places.
It’s one of the classics in my book.
P.S.
The ladies are always welcome to join in on the shots, beers and the chorus. An then The Dance for a good slow one with our special ladies.
