Welcome...This blog site was created to provide a forum for Blessed Sacrament Alumni to reconnect and share memories. It's our hope that reliving the laughter and recalling the antics can bring us all back to a time when life was so much less complicated!

Great Job Peggy! What a blast from the past.
Who are all of those Saintly people, certainly not the little dickens I knew?
Great job Peggy
Beth
How can you help but smile!!!
When I clicked to enlarge and saw all of our cute, sweet faces...wow...made me realize how quickly these years have passed!
Okay, Jerry Persley...now it's time to discuss your hairdo! Chuckling...gotta love it!
Chris, I was going for that Eddie Munster look. I could show you a picture of my son that looks just like that.
Romper Stomper Bomper Boo tell me tell me tell me true...
Let's look thru the looking mirror and see who we see.
I see Jerry, Keith, Chris, Kathy, Diane, oh there's little Johnny.
Tina, Peggy, Rose and is that you Debbie Sarkey?
You all look adorable.
Was your class that big or were there some CCD kids in there as well? There are a few I recognize from somewhere but I can't put my finger on it.
Nice hairdo Jerry, pretty close to Eddie Munster.
Beth
Sorry Beth, that’s not me you are seeing in the photo, I’m not there. I don’t remember why. I do remember, though, being devastated the day of our First Communion when our cat ripped my veil to shreds and I had to wear my sister's. Everyone had the exact same veil and I had last year’s model. Sooooo embarrassing!

Hi Beth,
Our class was not that big. We had public kids receiving the sacrament with us. I was looking at the picture and I did recognize some of my neighbors that lived with me in Woods Park that did not go to BS. Could that be the school year 1965-1966 almost 43 years ago? Wow!!! Time flies..... Nice picture posting~~~ Peggy.
Speaking of public school kids in our communion picture...I see my cousin George in the back row next to Father Lou. He went to CCD to make his communion...we were the lucky ones who went to church daily and had personal instruction from the nuns and Father Lou. Remember how the nuns scared us about making sure to get the host on our tongues and not dropping it on the floor. I remember they told us to practice sticking out our tongues in the mirror.....:)
