So I am told by Brian Czekala that class of 1970 won the Basketball Championship.
Was that with the CYO????
Does anyone know how to find Coach Waylyn? (is that how you spell it?)
Basketball was the pride of our school it sounds like.
Even though the other classes lost they felt that they were always a team and lots of support from fellow class mates.

I thought the championship team was Brian's class, coached by Mr. Wheylan. I thought the class of 1971 was Brian's class. At many games, we played first in 7th grade and the 8th grade team played next. They were great!! I remember Rick Kraft, Jeff White, Pete Reba and Brian were some of the strong players on the team. Correct me if I'm wrong here, Brian. You might remember better than I do.
