I know my brother was small but what a big mouth he had.... wait a minute that hasn't changed either....
Sorry Jimmy, another couldn't resist.
It was pretty hard getting a boyfriend in the neighborhood, because they all felt like brothers to me and treated me like a sister as well.
I guess that was a good thing, I knew you guys were all looking out for me.
Love you all.

Still getting the hang of this blog thing. We were all afraid for our lives. Broadway Joe had the discussion with us all. I think his warning ended with boom boom out go the lights. The scooter rides are about as far as we could safely go. You and Brenda did become more sister like over the years. Betty D was our Mom away from home.
Yes I heard about my brother Joe warning the guys to keep there hands off the sisters.
I found out just recently that there was a drunken brawl in the back yard one night because 2 brothers wanted to go out with me and Joe said You'll have to fight for her, and the best man will win.
Had I known that at the time I would have probably ripped his hair out.
How embarrassing....
Someone else told me that Joe put the word out that they had to go through him before I was asked out.
For a while there I thought that there was something wrong with me... Until Mahaffee asked me out... I don't know why he let him go out with me... I should ask him.
Beth
