Blessed Sacrament Reunion
Welcome...This blog site was created to provide a forum for Blessed Sacrament Alumni to reconnect and share memories. It's our hope that reliving the laughter and recalling the antics can bring us all back to a time when life was so much less complicated!

Does anyone remember our sleep overs at other girl's houses? They were so much fun!!!
We stayed up the majority of the night laughing, telling stories, and can't forget about dancing to the music. What about the weje board and doing those sayaunces? We were so freaked out by those games. I think our sayaunces one person would rub the girl's temples while she laid straight on her back with all of us around her repeating she's dead she's dead she's dead and trying to lift the person up with little or no hands. I think we got more freaked out when it would work!!! Does anyone remember doing those things?
Rose I don't think it was "she's dead" I think it was "she's as light as a feather." 3 time and then we would lift the person up with 2 fingers.
You're so funny Rosy posy. Remember that?
Beth
Oh yeah thanks Beth for setting me straight!! Hey, this time I remembered something and got it almost correct. We were always having fun!!

I'm really going to miss Frannie, Lenny and Anna at the reunion. They were very kind people.

I am sorry to confirm the initial report that Lenny Skierys did in fact pass away approximately two years ago. Lenny was a good friend to a group of us. Lenny, Joey Mac, Big Lou and I shared many days rocking out to some really, really loud jams in Lenny’s basement. Kiss, Ted Nugent, Leonard Skinnard, 38 Special to name a few. George Thorogood and The Destroyers, Bad to the Bone was one we really rocked out to. We also enjoyed numerous hour together cruising and fishing the lakes and rivers all over the region. Fish Fries and cold brewski’s on his driveway. I’ll always remember the way he called me Johnny Bubba, his hysterical laugh, and the many laugh filled days we shared throughout our rebellious teen years together. Full of life and endless promise. Later dude was always the parting gesture. Sorry he had to leave so soon. Perhaps we can hoist one or two to Lenny while we reminisce on reunion weekend.
Thanks to Beth Ann and Jay Markovich for locating Lenny’s son Dustin and confirming his much to early exit.
Hi Johnny,
I will miss those intense blue eyes and those goofy ears, and that long lanky build of his. Also in high school Lenny had hair longer then mine and what was the fast car he drove? Can't remember...
He was one of my favorites from our class.
Later Dude...
Beth
Johnny, I remember going in to Lenny basement too. We used to burn alot of incense down there if you know what I mean and listen to Pink Floyd.
Yes Perz, we did burn a lot of incense back then. Listened to good tunes. Shared many thoughts. You were a good friend. I believe you have become a good man. Looking forward to seeing you.
Beth,
Lenny drove a 1965 red, two door Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme. He was a good dude. I have a bunch of good memories of our times together.
Lenny' first car was a Dodge Dart with posi-traction, like a 302. When Lenny stomped on the gas you'd better not have been taking a drink at the moment. The G-force pressed you into the seat.
Still living on the west coast Toni Dauro
