Blessed Sacrament Reunion
Welcome...This blog site was created to provide a forum for Blessed Sacrament Alumni to reconnect and share memories. It's our hope that reliving the laughter and recalling the antics can bring us all back to a time when life was so much less complicated!

Hey, LET'S ROCK! (Check out the following YouTube video, plus the lyrics below)

Good Times
By the group, Chic
Good times
These are the good times
Leave your cares behind
These are the good times
Good times
These are the good times
Our new state of mind
These are the good times
Happy days are here again
The time is right
For makin' friends
Let's get together
How 'bout a quarter to ten
Come tomorrow
Let's all do it again
Boys will be boys
Better let them have their toys
Girls will be girls
Cute pony tails and curls
Must put an end
To this stress and strife
I think I want to live the sporting life
Good times
These are the good times
Leave your cares behind
These are the good times
Good times
These are the good times
Our new state of mind
These are the good times
A rumor has it that
It's getting late
Time marches on
Just can't wait
The clock keeps turning
Why hesitate
You silly fool
You can't change your fate
Let's cut a rug
A little jive and jitterbug
We want the best
We won't settle for less
Don't be a drag
Participate
Clams on the half shell
And roller-skates
Roller-skates
Good times
These are the good times
Leave your cares behind
These are the good times
Good times
These are the good times
Our new state of mind
These are the good times
Where was I when Johnny sang??
Blanche and Cheryl side by side brought back many memories of cheerleading, laughing until our sides hurt and those all nighter slumber parties.
It was sure good dancing with all you girls and the guys that I pulled on the dance floor.
Keep those pictures coming in, the memory can last until the next reunion.
Beth
I wouldn’t call it singing. I did the Billy Idol tune as a joke to try and get more people to come up and try. Thinking if they saw me make a fool of myself, they would be less apprehensive to come up and give it a try. Next time I’ll stick to my old standards. Leading off with Sympathy for the Devil by The Stones. Please allow me to introduce myself, I’m a man of wealth and taste. I’ve been around for a long, long year. Stolen many a man’s soul and faith. Just one of the basement classics from the days of old. I’m looking forward to redeeming myself as a kareoke contestant at the next reunion.
