Oops I hit the button to soon.
I've heard some pretty funny stories about the Alter Boys and the wine and carpet burning. Come on boys what really went on behind those close doors behind the alter.

Anybody remember Sister Dominick? Tim Matovina and I were altar boys in 2nd grade. Sister Dominick said that she would live long enough to see us become priests. She was half right. Tim did become a priest but left the priesthood some time ago. He now teaches theology at Notre Dame. As for me she was way wrong. I remember how we all tried to get funeral duty so we could skip class. I think Rick Meschede wanted to do the funerals so that he could drink the left over wine.
I knew there was more to the alter boys then just saintlyhood.
I remember the girls would be excited when certain boys would be helping with communion. We would all try and be in that line and smile at the guy.
