Look at those cheerleaders... Boy today if Alice White stood on my back you'd have to put me in traction for a week.
Nothing against Alice, but my bones would snap.
Wasn't that a lot of fun... Look at the smiles on our faces, we must have been pretty happy then.

I remember trying out for cheerleading and not making the BS squad. I was disappointed but happy I later made the Andrean High School Ninerette team . Competition was tough at Blessed Sacrament. Not making the cut teaches a valuable lesson. Losing provides the perspective to appreciate winning.
BS cheerleading squad you do look great!

The year 1972 Wow!!! Boy the years go fast!! Look at us in our CPO jackets and how we had to roll our skirts up cause the seamstress lady made them all kinda to long for us. We tried to look good with our mounts and all but looking back at the pictures we could of used someome who had experience in cheerleading to help us out. Hey Beth, we must of not been that horrible we both made the cheerleading squad at our new high school. GO Indians!!
Now, I guess you can say by looking at the pictures of us in the 7th grade with our red and white uniforms on we were pretty sad looking !! Not one of us matched with our socks or our sweaters!! We did not have much money to spend on our uniforms as you can see by the way we looked. But we had fun cheering our little hearts out for our team!! GO BRONCOS!!
