The day we discovered the Nuns had legs!

Does anyone else remember the day we came to school and all the Nuns were sporting new hem lines! They went from habits down to their ankles, all the prior years, to just below their knees overnight! It was a startling sight! AND...if that wasn't astonishing enough...they also removed the white cardboard from their foreheads and bared their hairlines. I remember Sr. Eymard's was salt and pepper with texture that resembled that of a mannequin! And didn't Sr. Laurentine have bangs? What a day that was....and after all that, to think they expected us to pay attention to academics!
