Blessed Sacrament Reunion
Welcome...This blog site was created to provide a forum for Blessed Sacrament Alumni to reconnect and share memories. It's our hope that reliving the laughter and recalling the antics can bring us all back to a time when life was so much less complicated!

How come Beth has her hands behind her back? What are you hiding?
Isn't that silver thing the window where we all had to take turns scraping off the trays?
hey Debbie...I told you to edit that cheerleading picture in Photoshop and get rid of those dark bags under my eyes!!! In our defense...I think someone had the bright idea of arranging for this group picture after we had a grizzly, long, sweaty practice session!
I tried to do what I could with those dark circles....such a sleep deprived child. Be thankful they are now gone (or do you hide it well with makeup)!!!! lol
That's right...we did have tray-scraping duty right there behind that stainless roll up screen. Chuckling...I remember a classmate leaving us "messages" written by strategically arranging peas on the tray! Were you the master mind behind that, Jerry Persley??? Ü
Look at us!!! We were so proud of our squad!! Hard to believe it seems like it was just yesterday!!
That picture was taken at the Tournament we entered at Calumet High School. Do you remember girls...HELLO.
We were exhausted and going on puberty with the greasy hair and skin.
And Debbie, my hands were dirty from being on the bottom of the totem pole.
Of course Dauro and King always looked perky.
Beth
I thought it was at Calumet High School too! It does look a little like BS. I am going to give Beth the picture of our famous pyramid so it can be posted on the blog. We were so proud of that pyramid. Sorry Beth and Chris you were always on the bottom holding all of us up!!! You were both the BEST!! Go Broncos!!!
Who picked the backdrop? The cafeteria garage door is priceless.
Funny Czekala..... I was wondering when you'd bring your dry humor in.
Beth
The best meal the cafeteria served was the macoroni and cheese. Does anyone have the recipe for that? It is the best I have had. Who was our cook? What a deal-complete meal for 35cents served on the plastic tray with the molded in serving spots. I was elated. Hot meals were a treat. Grades 1-6 I spent at St. Marks where we brought sack lunches and ate at our desk in alphabetical order.
Janet, I think Mrs Katcher? was her name.
See Debbie, you noticed me...
I was always the kind of person that would stand out in a photo because I would do something different then the others.
Take the short hair for instance, what was I thinking cutting off my beautiful long blond hair?
Double knee's on the ground, always praying....hehe!
Both hands behind my back??? Double crossed fingers, that I wouldn't drop Rose again on her head.
So theres an explanation for everything.
The B being covered hummmmm!!
What would that mean???
Beth
beth,
H-e-l-l-o remember it? I can still do it ha!
Hey, Toni Chris was doing the H-e-l-l-o cheer at TGI Fridays that night we met. I have to admit that it still sounds like a great sounding cheer.
Does anyone still have their saddle shoes? My two daughters wore them with costumes and friends borrowed them for their daughters. I had them duct taped and the shoes were just not working anymore. They finally fell apart and sadly they are sitting in a land fill somewhere. ;( Those shoes really held up longer than I expected!!
Beth, did you come to BS with long shoulder length hair? I am thinking you did? I remember you wore maybe a dark blue dress with that ring that was connected to your wrist. Now, I might be wrong but that sticks in my mind. Why I can remember that who knows?
Yes Rose you are right. That Memory of your is improving.
The dress was Blue and I did wear that bracelet with the ring attached.
Such a fashion statement...
And yes I had shoulder length blond hair.
I loved my blond hair until it became mousy color in high school.
Now I'm a flaming red head but still a blond in disguise(BID).
Beth
